Open LinkedIn Developer Portal
Sign in at the LinkedIn Developer Portal with your Noman Haider account. This is where you create and manage your automation app.

Create a New App
Click "Create app". Fill in the required fields:
App name: Draftlers LinkedIn Bot
LinkedIn Page: Your Draftlers company page
App logo: Upload Draftlers logo
Legal agreement: ✓ Accept
LinkedIn Page: Your Draftlers company page

After creating, go to the Auth tab. Copy your Client ID and Client Secret.
ℹ You need a LinkedIn Company Page. Create one free at linkedin.com/company/setup/new — just use "Draftlers" as the company name.

Request "Share on LinkedIn" Product Access
Go to the Products tab in your app. Click Request access for:
✓ Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect (auto-approved)
✓ Share on LinkedIn → gives w_member_social scope
✓ Marketing Developer Platform (optional, for analytics)

⚠ "Share on LinkedIn" is usually auto-approved within a few minutes. Without
w_member_social you can generate and schedule but not publish live.4
Add Redirect URL
In the Auth tab, scroll to "OAuth 2.0 settings" and add this Redirect URL:
https://oauth.pstmn.io/v1/callback
Click Update. This URL allows Postman to capture your Access Token in the next step.

Get Your Access Token via Postman
Install Postman free at postman.com. Then follow these steps:
1. New Request → Authorization tab → Type: OAuth 2.0
2. Auth URL: https://www.linkedin.com/oauth/v2/authorization
3. Token URL: https://www.linkedin.com/oauth/v2/accessToken
4. Client ID: [from step 2]
5. Client Secret: [from step 2]
6. Scope: openid profile email w_member_social
7. Click "Get New Access Token"
8. Sign in to LinkedIn → Allow access
9. Copy the full Access Token string

✓ Token is valid for 60 days. Save it securely (use a password manager). After 60 days, repeat this step to get a new token.

Get Your Person URN
Make a quick API call to find your LinkedIn Person ID. In Postman:
GET https://api.linkedin.com/v2/userinfo
Headers → Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN
Headers → Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN
The response has a
sub field. Your URN is:urn:li:person:<the sub value>
This app will also try to auto-detect it when you verify your token. Paste both into API Settings.

1. Go to aistudio.google.com
2. Sign in with Google
3. Click "Get API Key" → Create API key in new project
4. Copy the key (starts with AIza...)
